1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern the use of the vehicle shipping services provided by Hantar Kereta Trading (SSM 202603144686, IP0626439-K). By using our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

We provide sea-freight vehicle shipping services between Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak using the RoRo (Roll-on Roll-off) and Container methods. Services include:

  • Port-to-port shipping
  • Door-to-door shipping (jockey drive or car carrier)
  • JPJ and customs documentation management
  • Marine insurance coverage

3. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide complete and valid documents (IC, grant, bank letter where applicable)
  • Ensure the vehicle is in driveable condition (for the RoRo method)
  • Remove all valuable personal belongings from the vehicle
  • Make payment according to the agreed schedule
  • Collect the vehicle within the stipulated period after arrival at the destination

4. Pricing and Payment

Prices quoted are based on the vehicle type, route and shipping method. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Full payment must be settled before the vehicle is loaded onto the vessel.

5. Insurance

Every shipment is covered by All-Risk marine insurance throughout the voyage. Coverage includes damage caused by maritime risks. Personal belongings inside the vehicle are NOT covered by marine insurance for the RoRo method.

6. Shipping Duration

The estimated shipping duration is 3-7 working days depending on the route. This duration is subject to the shipping line's schedule, weather conditions and customs processing. We are not responsible for delays beyond our control.

7. Cancellation

Cancellation before loading: payment is refunded less administrative costs. Cancellation after loading: no refund. Contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel a booking.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the marine insurance coverage provided. We are not responsible for indirect losses, loss of income or damage caused by delays.
